2007 Albert Mann Pinot Blanc
This wine is a perennial favorite at Bend Wine Cellar. It got 88 points from Steve Tanzer. Here is his review: "Pale color. White peach and acacia flower on the pure nose. Juicy and just off-dry, with lovely cut and precision to the flavors of lemon, peach and white flowers. Not especially complex but utterly delicious."
2005 Chono San Lorenzo
This wine is made by Alvaro Espinoza is one of the premier winemakers in Chile. He is responsible for many of the finest wines that have been produced in Chile. This wine is a limited production, artisanal red blend from the Isla de Maipo, the heart of great red wine in Chile's capital winemaking region. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Syrah is harvested all by hand in multiple passes. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts and then aged in a combination of tank and barrel (80% sees French oak for 10 months). Midnight-deep in the glass, “San Lorenzo” shows great structure and grip, with liquid tannins and great complexity.

2006 Domaine de la Bouïssiere Gigondas
This powerhouse blend of 57% Grenache, 39% Syrah and a touch of Mourvèdre is born completely from older vines that grow at 900 feet, just at the base of the towering Dentelles. Hand-harvested and sorted from multiple passes in this mountain vineyard; aged primarily in older barrels. Incredibly seductive and pure, the wine opens with an expressive perfume of blueberries and licorice before it overwhelms you with a rich mouthful of sweet red/black fruits that are structured, complex and completely captivating.
“One of the stronger wines of the vintage. It is very concentrated for this charming year. With a deep ruby/purple-tinged color and sweet blueberry and raspberry fruit notes intermixed with some wet rock, garrigue, and a hint of graphite, the wine is soft, round, as well as long and seductive. It should drink beautifully for up to a decade.” — The Wine Advocate
