2007 Alois Lageder Pinot Biano Dolomite
This is a delicious green apple and honey Pinot Bianco from the cool Aldo Adige region of Northern Italy. The flavors are pure and clean. This wine is delicious by itself and will pair well with salads or seafood.
2006 Bodegas Alvarez y Diez Monte Alina Toro
This is an incredible value in Temperanillo wine from Spain that is a perfect summer barbeque wine.
2007 Domaine Pierre Usseglio Cotes du Rhone
This is an excellent Cotes du Rhone from a great producer and a superb year. Here are the tasting notes from the Wine Advocate: "Composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre, the sexy, up-front 2007 Cotes du Rhone exhibits gorgeous levels of kirsch liqueur, pepper, spice box, and spring flowers. Medium to full-bodied and silky smooth, it is ideal for drinking over the next 3-4years. What a superlative performance from proprietors Jean-Pierre and Thierry Usseglio. This is one of the few estates where the 2006s are so great that they eclipse their brilliant 2005s, and come very close to what was accomplished in 2007. 2007 is another stunning success from brothers Jean-Pierre and Thierry Usseglio."
